Pink Oyster Mushroom Grow Kit - Grow Delicious Mushrooms in Your Home

Pink Oysters are some of the most beautiful and delicious mushrooms. Their stunning color makes them elegant and attractive, like a fungal bouquet of roses almost too charming to eat. Meanwhile, their magnificent meaty texture and flavor are irresistible. Some call it “bacon of the woods” while others say it tastes like ham. The truth is, it is a marvelous flavor that is unlike anything else.

Oyster Mushrooms also have medicinal properties that support immune function and may help with cardiovascular health and diabetes. They have powerful antioxidants like polyphenol, beta carotene, and ascorbic acid that protect your body from oxidative stress and related diseases. What's not to love?

Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on species you may get 2-4 flushes. But we guarantee at least one flush of mushrooms.

There are many factors which determine the amount of flushes. Mushrooms are a living organism and it is quite a skill to cultivate them. Humidity, fresh air and temperature are the pillars of mushroom cultivation.

Besides a hand of playing cards of the same suit. A "flush" in mushroom cultivation is each crop or harvest of mushrooms. Depending on species, they usually appear once every 7-14 days.

Most mushroom kits are token size, ours weigh between 2.2 and 2.6kg. They are what the mushroom industry calls "fruiting blocks".

That said, depending on species, first flushes usually yield 400g-1kg.

Each subsequent flush is usually smaller.

Remove your block from the plastic packaging and

Bury your block in the garden and cover with mulch or soil - this will encourage them to flush again!

Break it up and use as mulch

When there isn't enough humidity around the block, mushroom pins usually stop growing. Don't be alarmed! Your mushroom kit is still alive and can fruit. Simply remove the dried-up pins (mushrooms) and leave the block to rest for a week. After that, soak the block in cold water for 20 minutes, remove all the water from the bag, and begin again.

Step-by-step Instructions

Follow the three simple steps provided and watch them grow. Once you open the box, cut an ‘X’ in the bag. Mist the cut 2-3 times a day and wait. Ideal for Vegans- Known as the "bacon" tasting mushroom by vegetarians and vegans, this is a delicious alternative to meat.

How Do I Grow It?

  • Step 1
  • Step 2
  • Step 3

Place your block on its side and where the block presses against the plastic, take a sharp clean knife and make a 10-12cm cut along this part of the bag (you could cut an “x” shape or a simple line).

Place your sliced bag in a humid part of your home (near the kitchen sink or bathroom). Make sure it is kept away from direct sunlight, and keep it well hydrated. Do this by spraying the outside of your block, over the sliced area, with water at least once per day but preferably 2-3 times.

The mushrooms can take 2-6 weeks to fruit, but will usually appear within 5-7 days. Once they appear, keep watch, they grow very fast and will be ready to harvest in 7-21 days. Harvest them all at once by gently grasping the mushrooms at the base, twist and pull.

Absolutely fantastic. I call them the Winter White Wonders. They taste delicately beautiful with a full mushroom flavour that dances in your mouth once you bite into the delicate white wonders of the oyster mushroom.
I had never grown them before and true to note did exactly what the instructions said. Thank you we are still getting the first wonderful wonders and eating this delicacy. Perfect.

Love it

Thanks for your review!

I have now been advised that
It maybe that I had no mushrooms produced and contamination due to the mushrooms SPAWN bag being different to a mushroom kit that iv used before.

Yes, unfortunately, mushroom spawn cannot be used in the same way as a mushroom kit. Our kits are specifically designed for easy and successful cultivation, while using spawn requires more specialized knowledge and techniques. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Thank you for choosing our product and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

Mushroom bags

Brought two different mushroom bags.
Lions main and pink Oyster.
Got no mushroom but lots of other non edible bacteria.
So disappointing

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the Lion's Mane and Pink Oyster kits. It's unusual for our kits not to produce mushrooms, especially since we have a grow guarantee. Please reach out to us directly so we can resolve this for you and ensure you get the experience you deserve. We're here to help and look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you for your feedback!

Judith Bacon
mushrooms galore!

I bought a pink oyster mushroom and a blue one. Pinky is still putting out mushrooms and bluey is just about to do a second flush. Bluey's first flush looked like the Giant's Causeway initially. I love watching them grow.
Really good value for money. When Pinky is finally spent I'll use the substrate as bedding in my worm farm. Bluey is weeks off that happening.

Thank you so much for leaving a review for our Blue Pearl Oyster Mushroom Grow Kit! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying watching your mushrooms grow and that you're getting multiple flushes from both the pink and blue varieties. It sounds like you're really getting your money's worth! And great idea to use the spent substrate as bedding in your worm farm - that's a fantastic way to repurpose it.
